Hi, I am Nawalakyah Barbel.

I am a photographer and videographer based in Miami, working under the name CapturedinPower.

I shoot portraits, events, branded content, and food and product work. My strength is natural light — outdoor sessions in the last hour before sunset, when the light does most of the work and people stop performing for the camera. The goal is never a stiff, posed set of frames.

It's the version of you your family already recognizes: the laugh mid-sentence, the hand on a shoulder, the ordinary moment you'd forget by next year.

The work runs on a clear process. You know the rate before we shoot, you know exactly what you're receiving, and you know when it lands in your inbox.

Every session includes the full gallery of usable high-resolution images, with retouched selections delivered on an agreed timeline. Contracts and galleries are handled properly, start to finish. Miami is home, and I travel for the right project.
